SNEEDVILLE (WATE) – After an eight month investigation, Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office has charged four people with drug related offenses.
Donald Ray Jones, 54, and Nellie Elaine Martin, 25, were both charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver. During a search of their residence, 259 Byrd Creek Road in Sneedville, deputies found methamphetamine in the “ice form” as well as numerous glass pipes used to smoke methamphetamine, syringes and drug ledgers.
While conducting a search of the property, deputies found Joshua Dale Seals, 29. Seals was charged with simple after deputies found he had a metal pipe that contained marijuana.
A short time later, Jones showed up at the home with David Dewayne Hall, 34. After the sheriff’s office determined Hall gave Jones a ride to a residence to buy methamphetamine, Hall also was also charged.
Inside Hall’s vehicle deputies found seven small bags of methamphetamine that Jones admitted to purchasing before returning home. They also found glass pipes. Hall’s vehicle was seized.
During the investigation, Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office said they made controlled drug buys from both Jones and Martin.
Seals is free on $750 appearance bond. Jones, Martin and Hall are currently being held in the Hawkins County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
