Vols beat Florida 83-69; pick up first SEC win

KNOXVILLE (WATE) — The Tennessee Vols (8-6, 1-1) picked up their first conference win of the season Wednesday night beating Florida 83-69.

Tennessee dominated the game from start to finish and had four players finish in double figures.

Kevin Punter led the way with 26, shooting 3-3 from the three point line.

Admiral Schofield added 17 points, 15 of which came in the first half.

Robert Hubbs III finished with 12 while Detrick Mostella added 10 points off the bench.

The Vols wore their Smokey Grey uniforms for the first time season.

Tennessee will host Texas A&M on Saturday, with a 7 p.m. tip time at Thompson-Boling Arena.
