Vols fans enjoy Outback Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. (WATE) – It’s quite the night to celebrate with have the coming of a new year and for Vol fans, the hope of ringing in 2016 with a bowl win.

Team 119 and its fans got the chance to enjoy the Outback Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade in Tampa’s Ybor City district Thursday night.

Tampa seems to have become Big Orange Nation, as the Vols fans have taken over the town. It doesn’t take much to see there’s a lot more orange than there is purple for Northwestern.

Amy Williams and her friends were in town from Hendersonville, just three members of “Hurd’s Herd” in the Tampa area. The Herd was getting in a little tailgating and they said they might’ve been looking for some Northwestern fans for a little friendly heckling.
