RUTLEDGE (WATE) – Grainger County schools were forced to close Tuesday due to a water main break.
The director of schools told WATE 6 On Your Side four out of seven schools were without water. Water was restored to all schools but one by Tuesday evening. Officials say they will work through the night to restore water and will make a final determination early Wednesday morning whether that school will be in session.
Officials would not say which school is still affected.
