PIGEON FORGE (WATE) – The Dixie Stampede dinner show in Pigeon Forge is rolling out its Christmas theme.
It includes many of the same scenes as previous years like the live nativity scene, but this year they finished a $2.5 million renovation adding new lighting and sound systems and an LED backdrop with more than 12 million lights.
Cast members say the additions really help set the scene for the whole show.
“We’ve been hearing the most awesome feedback you can imagine. We’ve got people who have been coming here since the doors opened and they said it brings to life a whole new atmosphere to the show and people are coming back just to see it, so that’s exciting to bring something new for the people who have been coming and seeing this for years and years,” said Dusti Crain, the show’s featured Roman rider.
The Christmas show at Dixie Stampede runs now through January 2, 2016. You can reserve tickets by calling 1-800-356-1676 or visiting http://www.dixiestampede.com.
