GREENEVILLE (WJHL) – A woman who caused a lockdown at all Greeneville City Schools this week is no longer employed with the school system.
According to Greeneville Police Department, Abigail Ero, 19, was an assistant at one of the schools in Greeneville when she told a school employee her husband made threats against her and others at Hal Henard Elementary.
The schools were placed on modified lockdown as a precaution.
Ero later admitted that the threats were not true.
She is free on bond and is no longer employed by the Greeneville City School System.
The system told News Channel 11 that her termination was effective Wednesday.
