Horse Haven hosts ‘Boo at the Barn’ on Halloween

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Horse Haven of Tennessee is celebrating Halloween with its family-friendly, not-so-spooky Boo at the Barn.

As part of Horse Haven’s community outreach, the Boo at the Barn event offers stall-to-stall trick-or-treating in the main barn with each stall, and some of the horses, donned in themed decorations. The barn doors will open from 1-4 p.m., the barn doors open to the event.

Admission is $10 per carload.

In addition to trick-or-treating, guests can participate in pony painting, face painting, a petting zoo, s’more making by the campfire, and several Halloween games. There will also be a pony kissing booth, spooky storytelling, Halloween music, a pony carousel, and candy.

For the thrill-seekers, our small barn will be transformed into Barn of Terror.
