Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and volunteers distribute food to those in need

Volunteers pass out food to those in need.
POWELL (WATE) – Hundreds of people were served by boy scouts, girl scouts and members of Powell Presbyterian Church as they helped distribute food to people in need in the community of Powell, Saturday morning.
The people began lining up at the church just before daybreak. More than 3,000 pounds of food was provided by Second Harvest.
Today’s service marks the eighth year that volunteers from Powell Presbyterian Church, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts have worked in conjunction and participated in this worthwhile event.
