SWEETWATER (WATE) – Sweetwater city officials passed a resolution in support of Insure Tennessee late last month. A certificate will be presented to the city on Monday.
Mayor Doyle F. Lowe and Board of Commissioners passed a resolution to support Insure Tennessee on July 27. This resolution proclaims their commitment to Governor Bill Haslam’s plan to provide healthcare to 280,000 Tennesseans, 3,282 of them live in Monroe County.
The county will bring in $19 million annually out of the estimated $1.7 billion, that would be brought into the local economy.
A presentation of the certificate of appreciation from Haslam will be presented by the District 9 coalition for Insure Tennessee Members, including Pam Weston of Sweetwater and Anna Grabowski of Ten Mile, during a workshop.
