KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Knox County Schools has created two new positions as part of the transportation department.
The school system says they are working to reconfigure and reallocate resources in the transportation safety program and daily transportation management by creating a Customer Service Manager and Transportation Safety Officer.
In the Transportation Department, the Customer Service Manager will help ensure a communication between parents, schools and contractors. He or she will also follow up and resolve all concerns and complaints.
