KNOXVILLE (WATE) – An endangered child alert has been canceled for a missing 1-year-old boy from Knoxville. Police say he has been found safe.

Jy’lin Brown had last been seen with his non-custodial father, Bryant Page Jr., 25.

Knox County Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk said Page picked up the child from daycare Friday afternoon and told the child’s mom he would meet her at home on Scott Avenue.

When the mom got home, Page allegedly fired several shots into her vehicle. The boy was found safe around 10:30 p.m. Police are still looking for Page. He is described as a black male about 5 feet 3 inches tall weighing around 150 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans with no shirt. He was armed with a handgun.
