VIENNA, Va. (WATE) – The three-year-old boy who died in May at the home of Kenny Bartley suffered from blunt head trauma, according to the Virginia Medical Examiner’s Office.
The manner in which Beckett Podominick died is undetermined, Nancy Bull, the district administrator of the medical examiner’s office in Manassas, Virginia, said on Monday. The child’s mother is Erin TePaske, Bartley’s former counselor. The court granted Bartley, the man convicted in the Campbell County school shooting, permission to live with TePaske.

Vienna Police Department Community Relations Officer Gary Lose said officers responded to a call for an child with a head injury at 7:59 p.m. on May 8. When officers arrived, Podominick was being treated by members of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, according to Lose.
Police said Podominick was transported to a hospital where he died a few days later.
