KNOXVILLE (WATE) – A ribbon cutting event for the new Karns Senior Center was planned for Friday morning.
The center will offer programming geared toward health and wellness for senior citizens. Computers and activities will also be open for Knox County residents aged 50 and older.
Patrons will be able to sign up for programs on July 27.
Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett, Knox County Commission Chariman Brad Anders and other members of the county commission attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.
