Tennessee Valley Fair announces summer reading program

Free community program emphasizes literacy, agriculture

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Beginning July 22, children of all ages will fill area libraries to learn more about agriculture and enjoy a little fun on the farm.

The Tennessee Valley Fair Summer Reading Program celebrates its 8th year in 2015.  Hosted by Jasper, the Fair’s rooster mascot and the 2014 Fairest of the Fair, Lauren Dubose, participating children will enjoy storytelling and interactive activities.  Each child will also receive a free ticket to the 2015 Fair, September 11-20.  All summer reading events are free and open to the public:
