FARRAGUT (WATE) – The Salvation Army is partnering with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to help provide local students with school supplies during their 2015 “Stuff the Bus” campaign.
The campaign kicked off Monday and runs through Sunday, August 2, at the Krispy Kreme location in Farragut. Supporters can drop off new school supplies at that location. All types of supplies are needed, including notebooks, binders, pens, pencils, scissors, crayons, markers, glue, rulers and hand sanitizer.
Those who participate will also receive one free Original Glazed doughnut for a single school supply donation and a free dozen doughnuts for a donation of a backpack that contains school supplies. The supplies will be given to the Salvation Army and distributed through their Emergency Assistance Program.
