KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Barnes & Noble in Knoxville is hosting “Mockingbird Monday” in honor of the new book release from well-known author Harper Lee.
Special guests will read Lee’s classic book “To Kill a Mockingbird” from start to finish on Monday, July 13.
Readers include Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett, local historian Jack Neely, and WATE 6 On Your Side Anchor Mona Nair.
She will be reading at the Barnes and Noble on Kingston Pike from 10-11 a.m.
The novel, “Go Set a Watchman” will go on sale on July 14 beginning at 7 a.m.
The first 20 customers who buy the book will receive an exclusive ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ reusable tote bag for free. Also, those who visit the cafe from 7 to 10 a.m. will get a free coffee when they buy Lee’s new novel.
