KNOXVILLE (WATE) — The Humane Society of Tennessee Valley is encouraging pet owners to practice good pet care with basic yearly vaccines. The facility is hosting its annual “Dirty Dogs Done Dirt Cheap” low-cost vaccine clinic and dog wash on Saturday, July 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Pet owners can bring their furry friends to the spay and neuter clinic located at 6717 Kingston Pike and get them vaccinated for the year, without the cost of an office visit or examination fee. Vaccinations include Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella for a total of $30.
The humane society is also offering dog baths and nail trims for $10. Representatives of the Human Society of the Tennessee Valley say all of the funds raised during “Dirty Dog” will go toward helping shelter animals.
