We know East Tennesseans, along with residents of the surrounding states, share an affinity for craft beer, and we’re excited to be able to provide an avenue for them to make memories while enjoying quality brews.” Mitchell said she hopes the festival will become a yearly event.

On Saturday, those attending the festival were able to attend two seminars, led by Trent Gillar of Hellbender Hops, on growing hops and home brewing techniques.

Sponsors for Hops in the Hills include WATE 6 On Your Side, Bluetick Brewery, Clayton Homes, Civil & Engineering Consultants, Inc., Designsensory, Ferment Station, Hampton Inn Knoxville Airport, Partners Development, Pinnacle Home Improvements, Rocky Top Insider, Tennessee Craft Beer Magazine and WGAP-AM 1400 Radio.
