KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Knoxville Police Department have charged a suspect in a homicide investigation with first degree murder.
Knoxville Police Department said Morgan Monroe Ward, 21 is a suspect in the death of William Aaron, 61. On May 28, Aaron was found in the living room of his residence, located at 3861 Cluster Street, according to police. A medical examiner determined trauma to the Aaron’s head caused his death.
Investigators said they had several persons of interest in the case. Ward was picked up by investigators on Thursday. After an interview he was arrested and charged with murder. Ward is being held on a $250,000 bond.
Police said they are continuing to seek additional suspects who may have been involved in the incident.
