Fire engulfs Knoxville home

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – When firefighters arrived at a Knoxville home, they found flames coming from the upper floor of the two story home.

Knoxville Fire Department dispatchers said they received a call from a passerby at 2:50 a.m. that their was a house fire at 707 W. Inskip Drive. After arriving, firefighters said they quickly worked to extinguish the flames.

Additional manpower were brought in to search for any possible victims. Knoxville Fire Department Captain DJ Corcoran said no victims were found and no injuries were reported.

Concoran said arson investigators are at the house, working to determine the cause of the fire.
