NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) –An accident may prompt wine lovers to shed a few tears.
A truck leaked wine onto the side of Interstate 40 Tuesday morning. The event happened near Fesslers Lane in Nashville just before 11 a.m.
Crews helping to clean up the mess said the truck was on its way to Virginia from California when it began leaking.
The truck has been moved to a sanitary storm drain so the wine could flow into the drain. Metro Water Service is also on the scene using a fire hydrant and hose to help flush the wine through the system.
