KNOXVILLE (WATE) – UT Medical Center is offering a free series of classes to help people with chronic conditions like heart disease, asthma, chronic pain, depression and arthritis learn to manage their disorders.
The six-week “Living Well Knoxville” program is designed to help people with chronic health conditions learn to live and cope with them in order to have a more productive life. Topics to be covered include managing symptoms, medication management, eating well and handling difficult emotions.
The classes will be held each Tuesday from May 19-June 23 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at UT Medical Center’s Heart Lung Vascular Institute (Medical Building E) in the Education Room, Suite 170.
