KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Knoxville Opera’s Rossini Festival International Street Fair is back for another year. The festival was ranked one of the top festivals in the area, regularly drawing over 100,000 people from Knox County and the surrounding region.
The 14th annual event takes place Saturday. Food booths, music, art and children’s activities will line 14 city blocks of Gay Street and Market Square.
The festival is free and features over 100 food, beverage and art exhibits and 800 entertainers performing on five different outdoor stages. A YMCA FunZone, with interactive activities and art, will be set up in Market Square.
New this year, the festival has a Craft Beer Garden, in the Bijou Parking lot, presented by the Casual Pint. Constellation Brands Wines and Spirits of the World will also offer a tasting in the Krutch Park Extension.
WATE 6 On Your Side is a proud sponsor of the Rossini Festival.
