Brevard County officers found Bond in a drug store parking lot in Mims, Florida. When they tried to arrested him, he fled on a motorcycle. Brevard County officials will have additional charges.
The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the extradition process.
Wells was arrested Thursday afternoon around 2:05 p.m. in West Knoxville by the U.S. Marshal Service and members of the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office assigned to the Fugitive Task Force.
Bond and Wells are accused of kidnapping a 26-year-old man in March in an attempt to steal money from him. They say Bond held a gun to the victim’s head and threatened to kill the victim. Bond also allegedly forced the victim to touch himself.
