KNOXVILLE (WATE) – More than 100 professional and student artists will beautify the streets of downtown Knoxville as part of an annual event.
On April 11 in Market Square and Kruth Park from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. the community is invited to participate in the seventh annual Dogwood Arts Chalk Walk.
Dogwood Arts hopes to uphold the history of the lost art of street painting through this event.
The best work will be recognized.
For those interested in learning the art of street painting, Dogwood Arts will hold an instructional workshop on April 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the Knoxville Museum of Art.
