KNOXVILLE (WATE) – A Knoxville non-profit that helps girls become interested in running is hosting a pasta dinner to celebrate the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon.
The pasta dinner will be at the Holiday Inn Downtown Knoxville Banquet Room on Saturday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m.
Sterling Henton, former starting quarterback for the University of Tennessee and current DJ for the University of Tennessee will speak to guests at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Girls on the Run’s website or at the door. The dinner is twenty dollars for adults and ten dollars for children twelve and under.
Dinner includes a tossed salad, Caesar salad, chicken marsala, penne pasta with a choice of meat or marinara sauce, grilled vegetables, dinner rolls with butter, desserts and a selection of coffee and iced tea. A cash bar will also be available.
