Deputies say they were called to a crash on Boruff Road around 7:38 p.m. The driver, Billy Ray Hensley, 37, was trapped inside a 2013 Honda Accord.
Officers later discovered the the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier in the day from a home on Fair View Road.
The owner said the car was stolen from his driveway while he was visiting his sister’s home. The doors were unlocked and the keys were under the driver’s seat.
Officers also learned Hensley’s license had been revoked for a prior DUI.
Hensley was flown to UT Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
