Knoxville ranked 34th in the country for bed bugs

ATLANTA (WATE) – A new ranking by Orkin places Knoxville in the top 50 cities in the country for bed bugs. Chicago topped the list.

The list ranks the cities by the number of bed bug treatments Orkin performed from January to December 2014. Beg bugs made the news throughout the year in Chicago with reports of the insects on public transit, office buildings, police headquarters, a fire station, school, library and movie theater.

Knoxville ranked 34th on the list. Nashville landed at number 23.
