NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The rape trial of two ex-Vanderbilt University football players has wrapped up for the day with jurors viewing sexually explicit images said to come from the alleged assault.
The alleged victim in the case quietly sobbed while a Metro police detective testified Friday about the photos.
Four former players have been charged with raping an unconscious coed in a dorm room at the Nashville school in June 2013. Prosecutors say the players used their cell phones to take pictures and shoot video of the woman during the incident.
Metro police detective Chad Gish testified that police were able to recover the deleted images from phones of three of the players.
All have pleaded not guilty.
