Anderson County Schools prepare for President Obama’s visit

CLINTON (WATE) – Anderson County Schools are preparing for President Obama’s arrival to East Tennessee Friday.

School officials posted on their website changes in traffic, car rider pick-up and early dismissal changes for schools in the district.

Buses will run at elementary school locations, Lake City Middle School, Norris Middle School, and Norwood Middle School beginning at noon.

Car rider pick-up will also begin noon at these locations.

Buses will run at high school locations and Clinton Middle beginning at 1:00 p.m. 

Car rider pick-up will also begin at 1:00 p.m. at these locations.

Preschool, Head Start, and Early Head Start will dismiss at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.

The Afterschool Program will be closed at all locations on Friday.
