SEYMOUR (WATE) – A Knox County man has been charged in an armed robbery at a Sevier County pizza shop that happened Friday night, as well as several other robberies.
Danny Claude Hall Jr. was located in Alcoa and arrested.
Workers at Little Caesars on Chapman Highway called the sheriff’s department just before 10 p.m. to say a man wearing a black jacket and ski mask had pulled out a gun and demanded money from the employee at the counter.
The suspect put the money in a Walmart bag and ran off.
Deputies advised law enforcement in surrounding counties to be on the lookout for the suspect.
A man matching the same description was found in Alcoa. He was later identified to be Hall. Deputies say he still had the Walmart bag containing the money from Little Caesars as well as a black airsoft gun.
Hall is also charged with two armed robberies in Blount County and is being held there on those charges. He will later be transported to Sevier County to be arraigned on charges there.
Hall was charged with armed robbery in Pigeon Forge in 2005 and had been released from prison.
