4 Sevier County residents facing meth manufacture charges

SEVIERVILLE (WATE) – Four Sevier County residents face charges after items used to manufacture methamphetamine were found at a home.

Kwanshane D. Owenby, 41, Britni D. Poland, 26, Shawn H. Burger, 26, and Kelly White, 26, were each charged with promotion of manufacture of methamphetamine. Burger also had an outstanding violation of probation warrant and was charged with evading arrest.

The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office says deputies went to a home Friday on Lindsey Way to look for Burger. Once inside the home, they found a number of items used to make meth.

Officers also found items inside a vehicle on the property including crushed pills, muriatic acid, ammonia nitrate, lithium batteries and other ingredients.

Poland and White are being held on $15,000 bond, Owenby is being held on $20,000 bond, and Burger is being held without bond.

All are scheduled to appear in court on March 13.
