Man wanted for pulling gun on McDonald’s worker because order was wrong

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are searching for a man who is alleged to have pulled a gun on McDonald’s employees because his order was wrong.

Demetri Johnson, 21, is alleged to have made a drive-thru order last Thursday morning at the restaurant on Brick Church Pike. After he received his order he pulled away but returned a short time later.

Police said Johnson went back through the drive-thru and complained he was missing a cheeseburger.

The manager reportedly asked Johnson to park and he would bring out the burger.

After a few minutes of waiting, Johnson is alleged to have walked into restaurant with a pistol in hand.

Police said he racked the gun and demanded staff fix his order. Three women who were with him at the time also demanded fresh fries and new drinks.

After getting their food, Johnson and the women left the restaurant.

Johnson is wanted for aggravated assault.

He was last known to have lived on Joseph Avenue.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
