Loudon County Commission expected to sign contract with Priority Ambulance

LENOIR CITY (WATE) – Loudon County is expected to sign a contract with Priority Ambulance.

Commissioner Van Shaver says Loudon County Commissioners voted 9 to 0 Monday to approve Priority Ambulance’s request for proposal.

Shaver says commissioners will draw up a final contract for approval at their January 5 meeting.

The 6-month contract will coincide with Priority Ambulance’s contracts with Loudon City and Lenoir City according to Shaver.

Loudon County had a contract with Rural/Metro, but Shaver says Rural/Metro did not submit a request for proposal.
