JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) – A North Carolina family is thankful their little miracle arrived at a very unique time this past weekend.
Kristi and Bryan Caruthers, of Asheville, NC, are celebrating the long-awaited birth of their baby boy. Their little joy, Callum, was born at 10:11 a.m. on 12/13/14.
“Our baby is a miracle baby after a devastating loss of our twin boys last November, which makes it that much sweeter,” said the Caruthers Monday morning to News Channel 11.
The family traveled from Asheville to Johnson City Medical Center for the facility’s “state-of-the-art-care.”
The Caruthers were told by other doctors their only hope for parenthood was surrogacy or adoption, according to a press release from JCMC.
News Channel 11 will be at JCMC Monday afternoon for a press conference on the miracle birth. We’ll have more details on the couple’s miracle birth beginning on the news at 5:00 p.m.
