Knoxville police looking for suspect in October drive-by shooting death

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The Knoxville Police Department is asking for help in finding a man suspected in an October drive-by shooting death.

Jabriel Aireece Linzy, 18, is wanted on charges of first degree murder, attempted first degree murder and employing a firearm during a dangerous felony. He is believed to still be in the Knoxville area and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Dominique Johnson, 19, was found dead on October 3 of at least one gunshot wound at an apartment complex on Bethel Avenue in East Knoxville.

Two vehicles were also damaged by gunfire.

Linzy is described as an African-American man, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 185 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. Anyone with information is asked to call the KPD crime information line at (865) 215-7212. Callers can remain anonymous.
