SEYMOUR (WATE) – Seymour’s Christmas Parade is back for its 21st season and this year’s parade theme honors loved ones home for the holiday season.

The “Home for the Holidays” themed parade rolls out on Sunday, December 13 at 3:00 p.m.

The parade will take its usual path along Chapman Highway, starting at Valley Grove Baptist Church and ending in the Kroger parking lot at Macon Crossing.

“We are excited to be hosting the Seymour Community Christmas Parade,” says Linda Karam, President of Seymour Area Chamber of Commerce. “We expect to see over a hundred entrants again this year, ranging from animals, classic cars and tractors and floats.”

Karem says proceeds from the parade support families in need in the Seymour area.

Those interested in participating in this year’s parade can visit the Seymour Chamber of Commerce website or e-mail info@seymourtn.org.

Registration is $20 prior to noon on Saturday, December 12th. Registration after that date will be exempt from judging.
