A front which has been draped across East Tennessee for the past few days will finally push to the east today bringing a brief end to the scattered shower threat. We will mainly see scattered light rain shower possibilities early in the day before some slightly drier and cooler air filters in this evening and overnight. Grab a coat tomorrow morning as lows will start out in the upper 30s-lower 40s and only reach the lower 50s by the afternoon.
There will also be an opportunity for additional spotty, light showers on Thursday, especially the farther north you go towards the Tennessee/Kentucky border. Out progressive weather pattern continues as another cold front approaches late week into the weekend. This will increase the opportunity and coverage on rain late Friday into Saturday. Sunday looks drier with some lingering clouds and seasonable temperatures in the low-mid 50s. A shot of slightly colder air looks poised to arrive by next Tuesday knocking lows back closer to freezing and highs in the 40s.
