MORRISTOWN (WATE) – The Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating two robbery suspects who are considered armed and dangerous.
Officials say Jonas Stanly Bolden, 23, of Bean Station, and his girlfriend Sarah A. Long, 19, of Morristown are wanted in connection with two especially aggravated armed robberies.
The victim, who is bedridden, told officers that Bolden asked to enter her home, located on Greene Road, to use her phone on November 2. She says she told Bolden he could not come in, at which point he gained entry to the home and held her at knife point.
Deputies say the second burglary occurred on November 4 on Spring Creek Drive. They say Bolden, with the help of his girlfriend, entered a home with a knife and demanded money from the resident.
The victim says they refused to give Bolden and Long money, at which time Long went into another room and found the victim’s pistol.
The victim told deputies she was held at gunpoint while they forcibly took his money clip, bruising the victim and breaking their clavicle. They say Bolden and Long then attempted to break the victim’s phone before fleeing the residence.
Hamblen County Detectives say they are working to located Bolden and Long. Anyone with information should call Hamblen County’s non-emergency dispatch number at 423-585-2701.
